I know a way to cheer you up," Kaede beamed, trying to lighten up her friend's mood. They haven't told Kaede about them moving yet. She gently wiped off a tear with her thumb. Kaede bent down and placed a hand on Y/N's cheek. "Oh thank god you're ok! I thought you might've fallen asleep or. Y/N noticed the rest of the students were already out of class. Of course, Kaede always assured them that they were amazing just the way they are, but that never stopped Y/N from grieving.Īstonished by the sudden voice, Y/N looked away from the window. Y/N wish they could be as determined and outgoing as Kaede. Y/N was fascinated by Kaede's talent for piano, and a bit jealous, honestly. Y/N was into rock and pop music, and basically anything that played on the radio, while Kaede was more into classical piano music. One thing they both shared in common was their love for music. The two got along really well, and would always look out for each other. No one would think a shy person and an outgoing girl would mix, but then again, they do say opposites attract.Įver since Kaede and Y/N became friends, the two hung out every chance they got. Kaede was the first friend Y/N had ever made when they were a kid. They don't want to leave the school, they don't want to leave their friend, and they especially don't want to leave. Like the classroom window, Y/N's eyes started to stain with water itself. Because of this, Y/N has to move away in less than a week. Y/N's mother had recently gotten a new job, but unfortunately, it was across the country.
The only thing in their mind is all of the great memories they've made at their school. Y/N watched as rain trickled down the pane of the window. It was raining lightly outside, and the sound of rain hitting the roof of the school audibly filled the classroom. Y/N sat quietly on their desk, staring out the window of their classroom.
